We know it is important that you have all the information you need so that you can relax whilst away knowing that your loved cat is being cared for at Camp Kruger Cattery. Below are a number of our frequently asked questions. If there is anything else you would like to discuss, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Where will my cat sleep?
Each cat has a multi-tiered berth with their necessities on different levels to encourage our shy residents (and a few of our lazy ones) to come out of bed and have a stretch. They also have 360 degree view of the action inside the facility and of the garden.
Is there an exercise area?
Yes our all weather exercise area provides endless opportunities for climbing, exploring and socialising.
All new guests have some private time each day to wander about and check the neighbours. This is where new friendships are made.
What do we need to bring?
On arrival we will need to sight the evidence of current flue injections and worm and flea treatments to ensure a healthy stay for everyone.
What if my cat is sick when staying with you?
We have an excellent vet just near the cattery in case of illness or accidents, We will need you to give us your consent for any treatment which may become necessary.
Do we need to bring our own food?
We always have a variety of wet and dry food available. Our first priority is to ease the settling in process, especially where the cat is nervous and feeling a bit ‘out of sorts’, so there is a bit of extra indulging at the beginning. Any special dietary needs or medications will be looked after for you. However, if you would like to bring in your own home cooked meals, your welcome to.
Is there anything you recommend to help our cat settle in quicker?
Yes, if you have any special treats, or any familiar bedding or toys this always seems to help our guests settle in quicker at Camp Kruger Cattery, Perth.
Does my cat need to be sterilised?
It is an industry standard to only accept sterilised animals and this is generally our practice. If there is any reason that puss hasn’t been done yet, please give us some warning as we will make some special arrangements if we can.
